We are now able to offer therapy for a wide range of dermatology issues such as verrucae by using the Swift Machine. Swift uses microwave energy which is delivered through a special probe applied to the skin to treat the affected tissue.
Our podiatrists are fully qualified to carry out treatments for warts and verrucae on hands and feet. It is a fantastic opportunity for you to finally get rid of those nuisances and drastically reduce your time spent receiving treatment. We would love to tell you more about it - so please contact us today to hear more and book your treatment!
The Swift treatment is suitable for both male and female patients and a pre-treatment assessment will be carried out by our podiatrists. The treatment can be over within a matter of seconds, with no anesthetic administered. More than one treatment may be required with a space of 2-4 weeks in-between. It is possible that after the treatment has taken place there may be some soreness on the affected area, but it won’t prevent you undertaking normal daily activities.
Does it hurt?
We won't lie to you; the treatment can cause some discomfort for 2-3 seconds then quickly subside. Pain levels obviously vary from person - person, but it has been described as similar to an injection or a scratch.
Testimonials
"In all my dealings over many visits to date, I am happy to place on record that the service, professional treatment and care generally at The Footcare Clinic, has been excellent. Debbie (the chiropodist and proprietor) has always put me at my ease from day one, and the receptionist(s) have always been efficient and understanding and helpful re making/postponing appointments etc."

"I just wanted to say thank you to you and your staff. I have just been able to enjoy a pain free holiday with lots of walking and wearing open toe sandals, something I haven’t been able to do for a while. This would not have been possible without the way in which you and your staff carried out my treatment in such a sensitive way- the patients comfort and well-being was essential."
